Why MyNYpod has stopped, for now.
Back in November I saw a friend for the first time in a while (good story bro!). When asked what I was up to, I rattled off a list of about a dozen projects, none of which I was being paid for, of course. He thought I was crazy, but in my mind, I was simply grooming a number of horses, not knowing which would become a champion.
There’s merit to that, but sometimes a pistol well-aimed is much more accurate than a barage from a shotgun (Dude, how many metaphaahs ahh ya goin’ fah here?). So, I’ve focused. Partially because working money jobs 50 hours/week only allows for so much time, partially because I’ve burned through finances on too many proposals & not enough contracts, and partially because I’m thinking as clearly as I ever have. I know what’s most important. And that’s STOP THE BLEEDING!.
Unfortunately, that leaves me with little time for much else, especially something as demanding at The MyNY Podcast. I’m not packing it in all together, but I’m only going to be pulling out the microphones when interesting & convenient opportunities present themselves. I haven’t the time to produce a weekly show.
I apologize to those who’ve followed the show religously, and I’ve appreciated your emails, tweets, etc. Hopefully down the road I will be able to have a similar, consistent show. Until then, feel free to overload on my brilliant pearls of wisdom here, and don’t forget to check out the rest of our library right here or on iTunes.
